International Conference on Language for Specific Purposes

Who is it for?

Local, regional and international professionals in the field of Language for Specific and Academic Purposes . It also aims to raise aspirations of modern language teachers and academics, education policy makers, researchers, teacher trainers, vocational trainers and school advisers practicing in this field.

What for?

The purpose of the conference is to disseminate information related to research, education and good practice of those interested in L S A P.In addition to plenary sessions, workshops and discussions, it will enable participants to network and share information and experiences in the field, catch up with existing developments and take home fresh ideas to implement in their professional and academic context.

We invite all professionals or academics who work or have an interest in Languages for Specific and Academic Purposes to participate. Practicing teachers of English for Specific purposes, French for Specific purposes or German for Specific purposes are especially invited to participate.

Abstracts are for a paper or workshop and they must not exceed 250 words. The deadline for Abstract Submission was 29th June 2008.The Call for papers is now closed.

Abstracts and papers to be published will be selected and approved by the appointed academic committee.
